Welcome!

Thanks for taking time to have a look at this new site for an "old" Pub.

The Old Tigers Head is one of the oldest & most centrally located pubs in Lee.
It's easy to find & has many great features & events. We have 2 main bars & a spacious garden for the long summer nights with a stage that backs on to the quaggy.
Adrian & Annabelle are your hosts & are happy to be part of the local scene. They have been in the pub game for a number of years & run a happy team.

Pub History

In the late 18th and 19th centuries Lee Green was the centre for many popular sports such as bowling, cricket, horse-racing and prize-fighting.

These centred on the Tiger's Head public house, built on this site in the 1750s.

The original building was replaced in 1896, by which time the rural sports had long vanished from the area.
